University of Iowa- SMC:1050 Sport and the Media, June-August 2026

  • Developed and taught the first asynchronous Sport and the Media online course independently.
  • Course topics included sports media and culture, media framing, gender and representation, athlete branding and social media, and artificial intelligence in sports.
  • Developed course syllabus, weekly modules, assignments, discussion activities, quizzes, and final sports media analysis project.

Texas State University- August 2023-May 2025

  • Prepared and taught MC 3311: Video Production independently, with a specific focus on news production, field production, and studio production techniques.
  • Graded website design and mobile app development projects for nearly 130 students, Fall 2023.
  • Delivered lectures on video production fundamentals, including pre-production, production, and postproduction
  • Trained students in field production roles, including field reporters, editors, and producers, to create broadcast news packages and voice-over segments. Examples of student work – [Link 1, Link 2].
